The Kappa Detroit Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt charitable foundation created by the Detroit Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. The Kappa Detroit Foundation is a separate non-profit organization, with the main objective of developing and implementing charitable programs on behalf of the Detroit Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
The Kappa Detroit Foundation believes that those of us who have been afforded the opportunity to receive higher education have the responsibility to assist those that may not have the financial means to pursue college. With rising tuition rates at colleges and universities, the Kappa Detroit Foundation has taken a more aggressive approach with its fundraising efforts to increase funding for grants and scholarships.
The Kappa Detroit Foundation will host “Diamond Life” at the Horatio Williams Foundation on Friday January 5, 2018. The event will provide an upscale contemporary atmosphere for members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and guests to celebrate 107 Years of Achievement.
This event is only $25, which includes Complimentary Drinks Courtesy of Martell and Appetizers. Most importantly, all proceeds will benefit the Kappa Detroit Foundation Scholarship Fund, which has awarded over $100,000 to deserving students and community groups in Metro Detroit since 2010.
Please support by purchasing your tickets from our Committee Members or visit Eventbrite using the keyword “Kappa Diamond Life” for advanced tickets today. You can also make an in kind donation to the Kappa Detroit Foundation Scholarship Fund if you are unable to attend the event.
